SRIRACHA-COCONUT POPCORN
WITH SMOKED SEA SALT
Sriracha-Coconut Popcorn with Smoked Sea Salt
(adapted from Bake Your Day)
- 4 cups of freshly popped popcorn (if you make your own on the stove top, use half olive oil and half coconut oil)
- 3 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp + 1 tsp coconut oil
- 2 tbsp sriracha
- 2 tsp coarse smoked sea salt
Combine butter, oil, sriracha, and salt in a large, deep saucepan or pot over low heat. When butter is melted and everything is mixed together, add the popcorn and stir until well-coated. Eat immediately, as it will get a little soggy after a while.

Seitan, coconut milk, and a Cape Malay spice blend (turmeric, cumin seeds, ginger, mustard seeds, chili, fennel seeds, fenugreek, sea salt, cinnamon, garlic, onions, cloves, black pepper, curry leaves, bay leaves, turmeric oil) are the main ingredients for one of my favorite meals!
On a side note, Aiden brought back a bunch of spices back from his trip to ZA this past January.
* Now that I’ve looked at the list of ingredients, I can just make my own blend at home
